RAYO EXPERIENCE PARTICIPATES IN THE 8TH EDITION OF EBURNEA TALENTS IN IVORY COAST
From May 2 to 7, 2025, Rayo Experience had the privilege of actively participating in the 8th edition of the Eburnea Talents camp, a talent identification event organized in collaboration with Fútbol In Events, the Rayo Vallecano Academy, and the African academy Eburnea Académie, with valuable support from a local company that facilitated contact and coordination.
During these five days, Marco Pastor, assistant coach of Rayo Vallecano’s reserve team, represented the Rayo Experience project in Ivory Coast, where he conducted direct scouting and training with local young talents.
⚽ A WEEK OF FOOTBALL, DEVELOPMENT, AND INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
The camp began on May 2 with the reception of partners at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport and continued on May 3 with a highly symbolic event: the laying of the first stone for the future training center of Eburnea Académie. This ambitious project will include a private institute, training fields, residences, infirmary, swimming pool, and even a breeding area in a planned environment called “Diamana-Cité.”
On May 4, 5, and 6, the focus was on talent identification sessions, where dozens of young footballers demonstrated their skills and commitment. The sessions were held at different times and culminated in a match between the pre-selected players, defining the final list of footballers who might receive an invitation to continue their training process in Spain.
🏛️ INSTITUTIONAL MEETING AT THE SPANISH EMBASSY
In parallel with the sports activities, on May 5, the Rayo Experience team held a meeting with the Spanish Embassy in Ivory Coast, in a clear effort to strengthen the institutional and cultural dimension of the project.
🌍 A STEP FORWARD IN THE INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION OF RAYO EXPERIENCE
Participation in this camp reaffirms Rayo Experience’s commitment to the development of international talent and the creation of real bridges between local academies and youth football in Spain. The collaboration with Eburnea Académie, led by its president, Dr. Diamana, a biomedical researcher, has been fundamental in ensuring the organizational quality and the sporting and social impact of this edition.
